About PANA A.P.
Our Story
PANA A.P. Is a Production/Marketing Company my twin brother and I started in early 2018. The "A.P." stands for the first letters from our first names. Ashley Logan & Preston Logan.
Born and raised in Orlando Florida in 1987. We were constantly immersed in cinema, music, and art. We grew up listening to the greats of our generation. Nirvana, Soundgarden, Aerosmith, to menchine a few. Our father consumed us with the best of the 80's and 90's classic films. Back To The Future, Coneheads, Indiana Jones, and Jurassic Park filled and stimulated our imaginations.
Most people look at celebrities and rock stars and imagine themselves as them. My brother and I always imagined ourselves as the select few who got to take photos and videos of the rock stars and celebrities. Even in the time before the internet. Photos and Videos were and still are the best and most efficient way of promoting yourselves. With never having to pick up an instrument or knowing how to carry a tune. Being in the spot light and on stage would be a guarantee. Just minus all that extra pressure of being the one that everyone is concentrating on.
We remember the days when music videos, and album cover art, all meant something. We remember the days when MTV and VH1 only played music videos. The 90's are a blunt reminder of an age when artists and bands put their heart and souls into their passion. A time when the mindset and goal was to be heard and understood and appreciated. Not how many copies are projected to be sold in the opening week.
My brother and I want to make music videos cool again. We want to bring back the days of deep meaningful album art. Even though we live in a digital world.
